Billings Park typically opens every year on Mother's Day and closes in mid-October, depending on the weather. Pavilions and other areas of the park are available for reservation beginning January 2 (or the first working day thereafter) of each year on a first-come, first-served basis. You must call and speak with Parks & Recreation staff to make your reservation. No reservations may be made by email or by leaving a voicemail. Your reservation form will be mailed to you and must be returned with payment within 10 days or your reservation will be released to another party.
Areas of the park available for reservation are:
Pavilion #1 (first wooden structure on the right as you drive into the park)
Pavilion #2 (white, steel gazebo near the back of the park)
Main Point (just beyond Pavilion #2, near the swing)
Girl Scout Point
If you are a City of Superior resident, the fee is $50 to reserve any of the above areas. If you need electricity, $5 is added to your reservation. For non-residents, the fees are double.
Responsible drinking is permitted in most parks in accordance with Wisconsin Statutes, Chapter 125 (alcoholic beverages are prohibited in Veteran's Memorial Park). Park disturbances or the possibility of underage drinking will be addressed by the Superior Police Department.
