Mission Statement It is the mission of the Assessment Board of Review to review assessments and correct any errors or omissions on the Assessment Rolls.
The City Clerk conducts the annual Assessment Board of Review. Wisconsin State Statutes 70.46-70.48 allows a property owner to object to the assessment placed on their real estate or personal property. The property owner files an objection form with the City Clerk who schedules an appointment with the Board. The Board is comprised of five citizens of the City appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council. State Statutes require the Board of Review to meet annually in May.
