Kind Words
Superior has become the 2nd city in the world to be designated as a "City of Kind Words." Victoria Vincent, author on "The City of Kind Words", is dedicated to empowering people through kindness.
Mayor Dave Ross accepted a plaque naming Superior a "City of Kind Words" on June 15th 2007.
Mayor Ross said, "We seem to have built up a culture of criticism...any time we can promote kindness and esteeming others is good for the entire society."
