Where Bluff Creek crosses into the City of Superior, the surrounding
landscape is comprised of wetlands and woodlands.

Bluff Creek crosses under Highway 53 before emptying
into Allouez Bay near a residential area. The spring melt causes ice jams
in the creek, and the melting water bring lots of debris along with
it. The water is VERY murky after several days of spring rain!
