Mayoral Responsibilities

• Work with Common Council to develop policy for City operations and implementation for the well-being of the City of Superior.
• Work with all Department Heads to plan and implement policy as directed by Common Council.
• Fiscal approval authority for designated expenditure.
• Appointment of committee members for City operation.
• Communicate and work with community to develop a vision and goal for creating a healthy and viable community for residents.
• Provide general information and troubleshooting for the community.
• Act as a liaison for the City with the educational, promotional, business and community at large.
• Meet with business, government, residents and Media to listen, plan and discuss items affecting City development, operation, etc.
