Where can I dispose of old fire extinguishers, smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms?

City of  Superior residents can utilize WLSSD’s Household Hazardous Waste facility to dispose of old fire extinguishers, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.  Not all alarms are considered hazardous waste however and some can be disposed of in your regular trash.  See the DISPOSAL GUIDE for more information.
