The Lake Superior Ice Festival is a community-driven festival celebrating the coolest aspects of our region. Events include the Great Lakes Pond Hockey Tournament (which includes the "Guns & Hoses" charity Boot Hockey game between the Superior Fire Department and the Superior Police Department), Superior snow slide, ice sculptures, an ice bar, bonfires and s'mores, food trucks, kids zone with princesses, ice racing, fireworks, local arts and crafts and MORE! The City of Superior is holding a public hearing to address any questions or concerns regarding the cleanup and dredging of Howard’s Bay. There will be a presentation and discussion of the project plan, timeline, handling and storage of the dredged material and the proposed use of dredged material to improve the cap on the Wisconsin Point Landfill. The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, open house from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a presentation at 5:45 PM, in room 270 of the Government Center, 1316 North 14th Street, Superior, Wisconsin.
The public is invited to attend this hearing. We are interested in your opinion.

The City of Superior has scheduled a public meeting to share final engineering concepts and gather public comments regarding the Wisconsin Point Dune Restoration Project.
There will be a presentation, discussion and final plan drawings will be available for viewing.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, you may provide your input by visiting the City’s web site and completing an online comment form.
