Welcome
The Assessor’s office values and classifies properties in the City of Superior for its residents, businesses and taxpayers. Our staff is committed to providing an equal and fair assessment of all properties in Superior. We do it in a courteous, respectful and professional manner for owners of properties. We are here to help you with any value and classification questions you may have. Call us with your questions and we will do our best to help you.
Mission Statement
We are to comply with Wisconsin State Statutes in establishing equal and fair assessment of all values. We are here to maintain current and accurate property records for all properties assessed by our office. We will offer professional assistance and guidance to taxpayers, local and public officials.
Open Book and Board of Review Dates
The 2023 Board of Review will be June 8, 2023 from 1PM until 3PM. The meeting will be held at the Government Center, 1316 N 14th Street, Room 201.
The Open Book hearings will be held May 30 to June 1, 2023 during normal business hours by appointment only. Property owners may make an appointment for review of their property or classification by calling the City Assessor’s Office at (715)395-7222.
We are also willing to informally discuss your property prior to the Open Book hearings if we are available. Call our office and we can discuss your property value and/or classification. If you are a property consultant, we require authorization from the property owners prior to discussing any value and/or classification issues.
Property Lister for City of Superior
The Assessor’s office is also the Real Property Lister for properties in the City of Superior. If you are considering any changes to the legal description of your property, splits or consolidation of your property, contact our office and we will get you started regarding the legal description(s) for any changes.
